I love this. So romantic. If this was added to my wardrobe I would be pretty happy. I'm not a big fan of those 'fabric roses" i think their a bit cheese but here their used beautifully.

Let's go to the OPERA

So I finally decided my whole inspiration for my new line. First i thought it was sugar fairies dancing in tutus then it was this whole circus act, then I drifted to Marie Antoinette. After reading about her life and watching the movie a million times, I felt discouraged. Maybe this topic has been touched to much? who knows but i do know that when I walked down that wrong street that hot summer day and discovered a hidden upholstery store. That sold yards of amazing gorgeous fabric with thick vibrant flowers, patterns, and textures for just 2 dollars a piece.AND I didn't even have to work my way through negotiation.  I know this was more than fate it was destiny pocking me with a fat thick needle, telling me this was more than just a trip to buy flowers( I was on my way to get bamboo sticks and decided to take a short cut) anyway back to what I wanted to say all along. My inspiration is the OPERA. but you already knew that. SPRING 2011 marks a new era for classical music.

I don't know if I should hate this or love this. A part of me loves the 70's feel to it but the other just screams out bad vintage shopping. I'am loving the zebra hat, reminds me of this one i had when I was in the 6th grade. (wore it on halloween)

Hot Tub Time Machine Photoshoot

The girls were very fun to work with and i actually felt as if I was back in the 80's. Unfortuanly i took really awesome pictures of the set but my camera was stolen later in the day. :[

San Fransisco

The last picture is my favorite. I love my reflection on the window of a shoe repair shop. The bike in background was perfectly placed there to make this photograph a reflection of my trip. Everything went by too fast.well.. i was there for three days but i discovered and explored a lot! I found this beautiful Elizabeth and James baby Doll dress and a couple of vintage blouses.  I bought this amazing hand made headband, I'm saving it for a photoshoot. The only thing that didnt make my trip the easiest one was my cast on my hand (ahh long story) i still want to go back because there is too much to document!
